Enterprise Data Architect

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Data Architect to join their team in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Data Architect with a strong passion for data and the latest cloud based technologies to join an organisation that is at the start of a journey to create a modern services based platform that will support their next generation customer interface.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

- Data architect with previous experience in this role
- Exposure to a regulated industry an advantage, experience of insurance beneficial
- Worked with latest cloud first technologies - ideally AWS
- Oracle database technology/sql but we are starting to use no sql databases
- Mix of Enterprise and solution architecture needed
- Needs some exposure to data in the digital/services world - near real time analysis etc
- Needs to be able to develop a strategy for our journey into digital and communicate this through the business and to project members
- Experience of moving data - ETL
- Analysis and reporting tools - Tableau, SAS
- Knowledge of unstructured data, data lakes, use of social data
- Operational Data Stores,
- Good experience of using data to drive improved customer experiences, multi channel integration, exposure and reduction of fraud, intelligent contact centre customer handling.
- Experience of working in an agile methodology
- Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
