Software Engineer Opportunities

Do you have a passion for software languages and their development tools? Have you worked in a cross-platform environment using a C / C+ + with exposure to Java, relational databases and network programming? If you have then you could be the person we are looking for to join our team building and maintaining a leading software development framework. This role is hands on development - you will be expected to develop in C / C++ on Unix and Windows using TDD and be able to demonstrate a high confidence in all the core C language constructs. Depending on your experience you will also liaise with product managers to refine functional requirements and produce architectural and low level designs suitable for other members of the team to implement. We're looking for the right person so it doesn't matter (within reason!) how much experience you have; but as a software developer you should be able to show a high degree of competency in: • C / C++ server development on Windows (Visual Studio) or Linux (gcc) • Scripting on either Windows or Linux • Object Orientated design • Waterfall and Agile development practices • Source code control Personally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, and not be afraid to dig into something you are unfamiliar with and above all want to learn and contribute to product evolution.
