About the role

As Head of Herbal Education, you’ll support the herbal education and training within Pukka ensuring that the knowledge inspires positive change in the way we work. You’ll also guide the delivery of the online distance learning course and training seminars externally with customers and create original thought-leadership within the field of natural medicine. You’ll be an expert on Pukka’s products, herbs, standards and values to be able to engage employees and customers in Pukka’s purpose.

Working with the Education Specialist, you’ll deliver content for the website and internal / external reference resources. You’ll develop and deliver content for external training and support Pukka events, including trade and consumer shows, seminars, in-store events and webinars. Working with our Marketing team you’ll provide support by writing and editing copy for packaging, consumer and customer communication, and media articles for publication.

About you

You’ll have an inspiring and sparky intellect, with an enthusiastic, positive and mature attitude. An expert in natural medicine/remedies, healing traditions and science, you’ll be qualified with a degree in Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, or another health-related discipline that will be supported by Herbal Medicine experience. Experience of leading and inspiring people to fulfil their potential is a key.

With a history of success in educational environments, and ideally holding a teaching or education qualification, you’ll have some experience of on-line learning platforms and delivering educational programs. You’ll have a proven track record of interpreting and communicating clinical research with a view to landing clear educational messages. An ability and confidence to deliver and design engaging learning experiences across different mediums is essential.

You’ll have an excellent standard of writing that is both accurate and creative, to suit a broad range of audience understanding, from professional to lay person. An ability to translate complex subject matter into something interesting and memorable is needed.

Calm and unflappable, you’ll be able to remain clear-headed and deliver in a fast-paced commercial environment. You’ll be resilient in the face of changing priorities and a significant workload, whilst maintaining a sense of humour and a passion to work hard. Highly organised with strong project management skills, you’ll have an immaculate level of attention to detail, the ability to proactively problem solve, and be able to discern the most effective solution for delivering herbal expertise.
