Role:- Head Chef
Pay:- GBP30,000 plus tips of GBP3000-GBP4000 plus performance related bonus of GBP500 per quarter
Role
The Head Chef will be charged with redeveloping the existing kitchen and taking it to the next level. My Client is looking for someone who has a passion for local fresh food cooked well and with flair. The business is looking to develop its offering and are looking to progress to achieving Rosettes in the future.
You will be joining this established business at a really exciting time, with a full kitchen refurbishment and extension planned in the new year, plus the addition of bed and breakfast accommodation.
My Client is looking for a business minded creative head chef, who has experience in training and leading a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness, food preparation and presentation.
The head chef will have autonomy on the menu, and will be expected to produce menu items on a seasonal basis, that are fresh, flavoursome and sit within the companies price points and achieve a minimum 70% GP, experience negotiating with suppliers is advantageous.
Full responsibility for hiring of any new team members and training of existing and new team members.
The business operates a 60 cover restaurant, plus weddings, private functions along with catering in their extensive gardens.
My client is offering the successful candidate a salary of GBP30,000 plus tips around GBP3000 and a performance related bonus of around GBP500 per quarter.
There may be an opportunity for live in for the successful candidate
