Due to expansion, a fantastic opportunity is available for a hardworking, experienced Sales Manager to join one of the UK’s leading two-way radio communications providers. Based in North London, the successful Sales Manager will earn a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience, working Monday to Friday – 9 to 5 pm. 

The Company specialises in the supply, support, hire and maintenance of two-way radio systems. With 100 years combined experience within the two-way radio industry, they pride themselves in their expertise whilst acknowledging that providing their clients, whether large or small, with the right application has always been the key to their success. One of the key areas of their growth has been in the Hire section of its business whereby they supply equipment to many well-known clients and events.

As a Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to shape your own department; receive an uncapped commission structure based on your performance and be given a say in the overall running of the business. You will be responsible for running and managing the hiring department, generating new business and account managing existing clients. The main duties of the Sales Manager will include but are not limited to;

  • Maintaining the event diary and CRM system
  • Attending industry events as and when necessary
  • Product training plus on-going guidance and support
  • Monitoring department stock levels and ensuring equipment is procured accordingly
  • Business 2 Business sales
  • Maximising revenue stream
  • Constantly maintaining awareness of sales opportunities within the industry
  • Identifying, sourcing and closing new business opportunities
  • Handling enquiries and hire administration
  • Providing sales forecasts, competitor analysis and marketing plans
  • Ensuring all bookings are confirmed and carried out correctly
  • End to end client management

The successful Sales Manager will have experience in management, procurement, stock control and logistics. In addition, you will also possess the following key skills and experience:

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Educated to at least A level standard
  • Have excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Capable of providing a high level of customer service
  • Experience in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possess business acumen, be highly motivated, ambitious and results driven
  • Possess a full UK driving licence
