Progress Housing Group is a leading provider of housing and support services across England.

At Progress Housing Group we care about people. We want to give every one of our customers the very best service we can, and we've got a great set of colleagues working to make this a reality.

Providing accommodation and support services to people escaping domestic abuse is a core activity for the Group and this role will enhance the service we provide at our refuges and in our local areas.

We are looking for a person who is passionate and enthusiastic about delivering a client focused service.  The role will involve supporting people experiencing domestic abuse, as well as their family and offering practical advice.   The delivery of courses to support their recovery and to agencies to raise awareness of the issues around domestic abuse will also be required.  In addition the role will involve supporting families in temporary accommodation who have fled domestic abuse.

You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of domestic abuse awareness, housing issues, welfare benefits and routes to accessing legal help. You should have an approachable manner and be of a caring nature.

A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this post.

This position is fixed term until November 2018.

If this sounds like the exciting new challenge you've been waiting for, and you've got the passion, the ideas and the energy, we'd love to hear from you.
