Blind Assembler / Assembler / Blinds / Curtains / Manufacturing / Assembling / Production / Technician
Blind Assembler needed for our client, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of Window Blind Fabrics and Systems. They are looking to recruit someone for this permanent position to assemble blinds based at their Head Office in Hyde, Cheshire.
Duties:
- Producing finished blinds to the specification of a printed works order, checking its quality, performance and size
- Packing and dispatching of blinds to a specified standard to eliminate possible carrier damage
- Trialling new systems and fabrics
- Cutting sample fabrics for the Swatch Department
- Assisting customers
- In-house training on all blind systems
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembling products (not necessarily blinds)
- Numerate
- Able to work as part of a team
- Meet specified performance criteria including speed and accuracy
Hours of Work:
- Monday and Tuesday, 09.30 - 18.30, and
- Wednesday - Friday, 09.00 - 18.00
