Our client is a specialist company that provides innovative temporary recruitment solutions for schools across the UK. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be selling our client’s online teaching supply service to schools in South-West England and Wales. Your focus will be to recruit local authorities and multi-academy trusts across the South-West of England as customers of our client’s platform.
Managing relationships with these customers, you will seek to engage schools within their trusts and catchment areas in order to promote usage of the platform.
You’ll report to the Head of Business Development, providing regular feedback regarding your sales activities and forecasts and offering customer feedback to enhance the ongoing development of the platform.
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous sales experience gained within a business development and/or customer relationship role
- A full driving licence
Confident, tenacious and enthusiastic, as the Business Development Manager, you must have great interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate in a professional, personable manner whilst building relationships and credibility is also key.
Ideally, you’ll have had demonstrable success selling software or services into schools, local authorities and multi-academy trusts in England and Wales. Knowledge of public sector procurement processes, including tendering frameworks in education, would also be beneficial to your application.
