As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for plant and equipment maintenance including all site services including but not limited to pneumatics and electricity.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will execute skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities and perform related work as required. This will include installing, dismantle and maintenance of the site storage equipment including pallet racking, long span racking and shelving and install, dismantle, modify and maintaining the assembly work equipment i.e. benches, fixtures, air tools, manual hand tools & power tools.

You will perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and infrastructure (electrical / Compressed air) and operate hand and power tools and maintenance vehicles and equipment in area of assignment.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Electrician to IEE 17th Edition standard, hold a City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 Electrical Installation, an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and an AM2 Practical examination in electrical fault finding. You will have experience in a Manufacturing environment and will have strong experience working on electrical installations.

A strong team player who has good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers, team leaders and the general public sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive or deliver work direction.

In addition, you will have a Fork Lift Truck Certification (Counter Balance) & Scissor Lift Licence (MEWP) and a SEMA Pallet Racking Installation Safety Qualification.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am – 3.00pm.
