WORKING HOURS: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a GP practice based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. They currently have approximately 11,000 patients on their books. They are now looking for a Qualified Healthcare Assistant / HCA to join their busy doctor's surgery.
THE ROLE: As a Qualified Healthcare Assistant / HCA your you will be responsible in carrying out a range of duties which will include: Phlebotomy, smoking cessation, health-checks, ECGs, simple dressings, lifestyle advice, blood pressure monitoring, long-term condition monitoring, vaccination clinics, general re-stocking of clinical rooms, ordering of supplies and vaccinations, INR-Star & anti-coag monitoring.
THE CANDIDATE: For the Qualified Healthcare Assistant / HCA position you must have previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant / HCA in a GP Surgery or Hospital setting and must live within commutable distance to Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate must have an excellent telephone manner and be have a friendly and sympathetic nature. You should be a great team player, and someone who is able to work under pressure and you should be extremely reliable and responsible. It is essential that you are computer-literate and have good communication skills both spoken and written. Although not essential, previous experience using SystmOne would be preferred.
