Services Manager
Central Scotland Area Services - Clackmannanshire
£28,269 - £30,417
Full Time

Scottish Autism seeks to promote and provide care, education, support and opportunities for individuals with autism of all ages throughout Scotland.

Central Scotland Area Services supports adults on the Autism Spectrum to live in and access their local community. We do this through a combination of residential, day, home support and outreach services throughout Clackmannanshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join them as a Service Manager as part of the Services Management Team within Central Scotland Area Services.

Key duties within this role will include managing the direct service provision of a group of services to the highest quality and maintaining these services as autism specific. We require an individual who is innovative and creative to continue to develop the service. The successful candidate will also manage the financial and budgetary targets involved in the provision of these services and participate in the planning, update and review of these budgets.

With strong leadership skills, you will provide and maintain a quality service, where the focus will be on developing skills, strategies of intervention and maximising independence. In particular, you will have demonstrable experience of liaising with multi-disciplinary teams, developing and auditing various care programmes, risk management, people management and developing close links in the local community, promoting the service and the organisation.

Suitable candidates will have a relevant qualification as set by the SSSC such as SVQ level 4 in Health/Social Care and the Leadership in Management and Care Award; coupled with experience in a management role.

Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under pressure will be important attributes of the candidate. You will be motivated and perform well in a team and have strong communication skills. Familiarity in the use of Microsoft software packages such as Word and Excel would also be desirable.

We offer comprehensive training, opportunities for personal development and a generous benefits package.

Please note the organisation operates a policy where only successful applicants will be contacted. Candidates who have not received written confirmation within two weeks of the closing date for the position should then consider themselves unsuccessful.
