We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technician to join our experienced Design team. This is an entry level role with emphasis on innovation and developmental training and will suit candidates looking to start their career in construction related design.
With good knowledge of AutoCAD, you will provide support in the production of construction drawings, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and kept up to date. Meticulous with great attention to detail, you will be expected to maintain the technical and manufacturing literature and help to provide information to enable continuous works on site. Confident and self-motivated, you will assist with the preparation of design documentation for our clients. You will work closely with relevant business units, project designers, site and client teams, with the overall aim on timely delivery of construction projects. You will be keen to understand the full design process and learn the project management systems we use to help acquire knowledge to develop your career.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have relevant experience / training in using CAD software. You will be logical in your approach to work and able to prioritise a varied workload, demonstrating excellent team working abilities to ensure the completion of projects Delivery focussed, you will strive to achieve the highest levels of excellence to optimise performance and results. We are looking for an individual who can thrive in a demanding environment and who can remain positive under pressure.
This role will be mainly based at our Head Office in Crawley, close to Gatwick Airport, but with the opportunity to visit sites when required.
