Development Worker
- Salary up to £23,000 depending on experience Initially for 12 months
- Based in The Thistle, High Street Dalmellington.
Dalmellington Community Action Group in partnership with The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are looking for a Development Officer, to join us in delivering a programme that will encourage residents to take action that makes a positive difference. The Development Officer will listen to the concerns of the community and help progress the issues that matter and create positive change locally.
The Development Worker will initially explore the restitution of the Doon Valley Museum identifying a range of options to re-open the now closed facility. In addition the Worker will assist in the development and implementation of new plans and projects to contribute to the regeneration of Dalmellington particularly in relation to services and facilities for the adult population.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust will work closely with the Dalmellington Community Action Group and provide support coupled with accredited training where appropriate.
