A leading Care provider specialising in Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Elderly Care is currently recruiting for an experienced Nurse based in Edinburgh.

Their services include both Nursing and Residential, supporting adults and elderly from 18 years upwards with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health issues and Dementia.

As part of the clinical team, you will assist in the development and delivery of care plans, support the service users with everyday activities and will play a significant role in assisting and encouraging them to engage in therapeutic activities and organised events designed to help them increase their skills and independence.

You will need a flexible approach to working hours, be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and exhibit attitudes and behaviours reflective of the company culture, vision and values. Applications are welcomed from well motivated individuals, able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility.

The ideal applicant will need to be a qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current NMC pin, experience of working in either a hospital based environment or care home setting along with a strong background of supporting vulnerable adults and the elderly with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health problems.
