You will be able to give some effective support to a number of departments across the school and across the Key Stages. The new Teaching Assistant will have a First Class degree, a passion for teaching and a positive attitude. You will be available immediately or with little notice and you will be able to commit to the school for the remainder of the academic year. A substantial part of your Teaching Assistant timetable will be spent assisting Year 7 and 8's with their numeracy and literacy, giving them the necessary tools to be able to fully engage with other subjects as they begin to specialise throughout the school. The new Graduate Teaching Assistant will also be able to observe some outstanding teachers in your future teaching subject throughout the year.
