Our client, a market leading international IT transformation organisation are looking to recruit a Network Security Engineer, to join their team located on a client site in Manchester.

The successful candidate will be required to manage & monitor adherence to our client and their customer security policies, procedures and guidelines across the account or programme.

Working as part of a small team you will help manage the delivery of secure network solutions across our client's enterprise accounts.

Essential Skills Required:

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Network Engineer - ideally in a client facing environment.

• Good understanding of networking and network principles (firewalls, load balancing, routers/switches, WAN/LAN etc)
• Professional experience in Cisco products including Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE
• Professional experience in Firewalls, Switching, Routing, Load Balancing and Wireless Network Infrastructures
• Experience of asset management

Desirable Skills Required:

Currently holds or is working towards a relevant security qualification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCSA etc)

• Ability to deliver a high quality work with a proactive attitude
• Compliance requirements of legislation, regulation, and industry good practice
• Ability to work autonomously
