Our client is a luxury brand with a base in one of London's bustling international retail centres. The current vacancy offers the opportunity to work within their large Harrods department. As a department store much loved by the best of the best Harrods has earned a glowing reputation for itself and has become the must visit location for many tourists.

Both Harrods and our client pride themselves on the legacy they have created within the luxury market and as such are looking for a brand ambassador that embodies this luxury feeling. As one of the foremost names in fashion, our client is seeking a like-minded brand ambassador with a keen eye for fashion and a love of all things luxury.

As a luxury brand ambassador, you would find yourself rubbing shoulders with the elite on a daily basis, helping them find the perfect pieces to express their personality.

The working hours are shift based, with the store having opening hours of 10am - 9pm (Mon-Sat) and 11.30am - 6pm (Sun). As such your shift would be within these hours.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a name seen on every major runway, and known worldwide for their years of not only leading fashion trends but creating staples that have influenced the very way the world has dressed for nearly a century.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greet, serve and advise customers giving the highest standard of customer service at all times
  • Develop a comfortable relationship with customers through 1-2-1 personal shopper style sales with an emphasis on customer experience
  • Suggest add-on sales during the shopping experience to achieve sales targets
  • Have up to date knowledge of target sales and department performance
  • Follow all stock management procedures
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and display
  • Have a high-level understanding of the selling systems, including cash and credit and exchange procedures.
  • Take all actions necessary to maximise security and prevent theft of product
  • To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Well presented at all times in line with company grooming standards
  • Outgoing and willing to develop strong customer relationship to ensure customers receive a courteous and professional service
  • Positive working attitude and a strong drive for results
  • Have a genuine interest in the luxury retail and the fashion industry
  • Be able to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent in English, with an additional language being preferable
