Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Based in Hampshire, the company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced monitoring systems within the IOT (Internet-Of-Things) product arena, and provides bespoke design and manufacturing services to other market-leading companies. The company is part of the a group and is a successful and rapidly expanding company with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong.

Job Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to spearhead the development of new and exciting products from concept right through to manufacturing. You will have the freedom to develop new and innovative ideas ensuring that we provide reliable and effective products for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To research, develop and design world-beating electronic products.
• Be a key player in shaping our new product roadmap, generating new product ideas and seeing them come to fruition.
• Work within the company's multidisciplinary teams, using your skills in electronic and embedded software development, prototyping and design.
• Take the lead in creating and managing product requirement specifications.
• Continually improve existing products through the use of the latest technologies, to maintain our market leading position.
• Liaise with our manufacturing teams in the UK and Far East to see your products safely into full scale production.
• Assist with the development of the team by mentoring junior engineers

Skills:

• A strong electronic design background.
• Embedded software development using C and/or C++.
• Good knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuits, including low power microprocessors and microcontrollers.
• Design for EMC.
• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering.
