This company is a leading outdoor playground design consultant and supplier of high quality play equipment. They wish to recruit a field-based Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands area of England. They are looking for an individual who is articulate, educated to a high standard, an effective communicator and with an outgoing personality. You will be able to conduct negotiations at all levels with local authorities, landscape architects, house builders and private sector organisations. Full driving licence is required.
You will be required to visit prospective clients to discuss new business, undertake site surveys and prepare written briefs for their designers. An ability to prioritise and organise your activities is essential. You will ensure that their sales database is maintained and that all activities are logged and recorded. Working to a sales target, you will attend review meetings to provide monthly updates on current and forecasted business. Most importantly, you will ensure their customers receive the highest levels of service and attention throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
This is a rewarding and interesting position and they offer an excellent salary package, including sales commission and company pension scheme, together with company car, laptop, mobile phone and travel expenses.
