We are currently looking for Support staff with Care background to work within our Special Needs schools near Taunton. Our schools are open during term-time and require Carers who have experience of supporting young people and adults with a variety of Learning difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

These roles would be ideal for you, if you are looking for a career change from Social Care and looking to work more regular hours during the day. Or you are looking to gain additional experienced within Educational settings. We are looking to recruit care and support staff who have previous work experience within care/alternative education/hospital settings and are available part or full-time.

Our client schools are offering excellent training opportunities and as well, as experience within Education system.

These roles might be ideal for you if:

-You have previous support/care experience in or outside education settings.
-You have Level 2 in Health and Social Care and/or Working towards Level 3 Health and Social Care.
-You have previously supported or cared for young people with additional needs.
-You have experience/Training in Special Educational Needs or Physical Disabilities.
-You are available part-time asap. (Minimum 2/3 days a week)
-You have a flexible and conscientious approach and can work between 0830-1530 during the week.
-You own your transport, however not a requirement depending on locations.
-You have certificates/training in Manual Handling, PECS, MAKATON, Epilepsy Training, Medication Administration, Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Management.
