This is an opportunity to join a small successful business supplying and installing specialist timber flooring products to prestigious clients in the London area and throughout the UK. It is a well-established company with a strong client following based in West London. It has a relaxed and informal office environment but with the ambition to continue growing.
They are looking for a Contracts Manager to work closely with the Managing Director managing existing relationships and business development.
Role responsibilities:
- Planning, scheduling & delivery of works across multi sites
- Mobilisation of onsite resources
- Client visits & advisory on technical aspects of installation
- Estimating, costing & completing of tender documents
- Liaison with contract representatives, intermediaries & specifiers
- Business development from architects, interior designers, main contractors & specifiers
The ideal candidate will have experience directly from the wood flooring sector or more broadly in the construction industry in sales, project management or installation. Strong knowledge of the business is essential as it is vital to be credible & professional in front of clients. This is a key part of a small team & requires flexibility as it is a hands-on role.
There will be scope to develop the role so you must be capable of demonstrating initiative & possess good communication skills. Competitive salary & bonus will be on offer dependent on experience.
