Have you got over 1 years experience in managing and supporting adults with Autism?
Can you manage severe challenging behaviour?
Do you hold a UK Drivers Licence?
Is your main goal in life to support those in their daily lives and help them achieve future goals?
BS Social Care are proud to be assisting an award winning Learning Disabilities provider in their search for a Support Worker to support a Male in his own living accommodation and in the community. You will be supporting a gentleman with challenging behaviour. You will provide support with day to day activity and general support in the community. You will use to positive language to build rapport with whom you are supporting and you will help them maintain relationships with families and friends.
We are looking for applicants who would like a varied job and job satisfaction whilst having the chance to make a difference in people`s live. You will need to have previous experience supporting vulnerable adults and a qualification in Health and Social Care would be advantageous.
The role:
- Working in both a residential and community setting providing care to clients with Learning Difficulties and Autism spectrum
- Working 37.5 hours a week (2 sleep shifts per week)

Skills Needed:
- Learning Difficulties experience
- Willing to take Physical Intervention Training
- Experience in Non Verbal Autism
