The UK's leading manufacturer of instrumentation products has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join their Redhill based team.

The Accounts Administrator is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the accounts department, ensuring that all company work instructions and guidelines are followed.

Main Duties:

- Credit control and chasing in overdue monies primarily for all customer accounts based in GBP.
- Management of the credit control function to ensure all customer balances are reconciled on a monthly basis and work with the sales teams to ensure that agreed aged debtor targets are exceeded.
- Ensure all intercompany balances are reconciled on a monthly basis in line with Parent Company requirements.
- Preparing monthly GBP cash flow analysis and producing any reporting requirements for the finance manager as required.
- Raising of invoices and credit notes where necessary.
- Posting of all monies received daily on the Barclays account and full daily reconciliation of the account.
- Handling phone calls and correspondence.
- Maintaining accounts office filing and archiving.
- Assisting the Finance Manager and Management Team with other assignments where necessary.

Working Hours: 37.5 per week
Hours of Work: 08.00am - 16.15pm Mon - Thurs / 08.00am - 15.50 Fri (40 mins for lunch)

The successful candidate must have:-

- Working towards initial level of credit control qualification e.g. CICM or equivalent.
- Experience in credit control is essential.
- Must be personable, approachable, presentable and interactive, with a 'hands-on' approach.
- Excellent communication skills required and ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be willing to learn all aspects of the role.
- Competent on all Microsoft Office programmes.
- Must possess outstanding organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Must have a keen attention to detail and high standards for their work.
- Flexible attitude and willing to work additional hours where workload permits.
- Must have the ability to use initiative and the confidence to work with minimal supervision.
