We currently have opportunities for Multi Skilled Operatives to join our team in Milton Keynes. Within the role you will be responsible for completing repairs to the housing stock as required by our client and will work effectively within a cohesive operations repairs service.

Liaising with the Mears call centre, you will enable a response to emergencies and other works as directed within the given time periods as laid down in the contract.  You will be responsible for ensuring that the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently and that any further information from the repairs is passed/co-ordinated over to the course of the day for effective delivery of the repairs service.

You will prepare all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades, and job coding and costing.  Working within in a busy repairs/voids team environment, you will report individual job actions from site to ensure maximum service delivery and high levels of resident satisfaction with the repairs service.

Candidates for this role will ideally hold extensive experience in Joinery, Brickwork, Plastering and DPC works.  Candidates should hold a Trade qualification or will have substantial experience in 3 or more trades such as Glazing, Plumbing, Carpentry and Wet trades (plastering, brickwork, tiling). With strong time management skills, the Multi Skilled Operative will have experience of preparing all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades alongside job coding and costing. Moreover, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the ability to succeed. Successful Operatives will also be added to the branch out of hours rota.

Candidates for this role must hold a full valid UK driving licence
