Who we are:

We are a growing, independent digital agency, based in Oxford, are hiring a Financial Controller with 5+ years of agency experience to join our team.

You will report to the MD, with support from a CFO and CEO, and will supervise an in-house Bookkeeper. You will play a pivotal role in our exciting, collaborative agency as we take big steps towards future growth and success.

Key Accountabilities:

+ Maintaining the health of the company finances and providing commercial leadership to the business
+ Provision of timely management information to MD and Board, including standard management accounts, cashflow forecasts, etc.
+ The selection and successful implementation of an agency management software product to enable accurate project accounting, reporting, forecasting, resourcing and billing
+ Working with MD, CEO and CFO to create and maintain a financial plan for the business, including guiding the business on day rates, utilisation, team, overheads etc.
+ Creating appropriate levels of financial control within the business to ensure that budget holders are supported to be accountable for their budgets.
+ Providing guidance to sales teams on pricing, deal structures and other contractual terms during proposal writing and sales negotiations.
+ Managing suppliers and staff, and with overall accountability, for the functions of HR, legal, admin and facilities management.

The Person:

+ 5+ years of experience in an agency environment, with significant time in a FC role
+ ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified
+ Collaborative and flexible
+ Confident and assertive
+ Ideal role for someone returning to work after a career break

The Role:

+ Part-time (3-4 days per week, to be discussed)
+ GBP50,000 pro rata
+ 25 days holiday (pro rata)
