Part Time Funeral Home Administrator

We are looking for a caring, courteous and organised person to join our team.

You will be based mainely at our office in Lydiate but will also be asked to work at some of our other locations, particularly Aintree and Ormskirk. Your usual working hours will be 8.30 am to 5.00 pm on Thursday and Friday and there will be several weeks of the year that you will work full time. You must be flexible enough to occasionally work a little late.

Your main duty will be to serve our bereaved client and to arrange funerals on their behalf. By listening carefully to their requests and then liaising with clergy, crematoria, doctors, florists, coroners and other you will organise funeral services and ceremonies that reflect the life of the deceased and the wishes of our clients.

The successful applicant will present themselves smartly and will have a calm and professional manner. An ability to listen carefully and to note important details is essential. You must be accurate and methodical in administrative and clerical work so that funerals are arranged with mistake or omission.
