This private equity-owned business, on a steep growth curve, manufactures and distributes industrial and specialist doors to a broad-ranging customer base, in addition to providing comprehensive, 24/7 servicing and repairs from six regional locations. Market demand is driving the need to develop further its network of Regional Business Centres (RBCs) to enhance the service, repair and maintenance offer, including PPM contracts providing a comprehensive support platform.  Each Regional Business Centre is P&L-accountable, has its own objectives for sales and customer service and covers a well-defined local market.  

As Sales Performance Manager reporting to the Managing Director, your key focus will be on driving business growth throughout the RBCs, developing business with key national accounts, ensuring that customer service is at world-class levels and that you maximise opportunities presented via maintenance and support contracts. That’ll entail helping RBC teams to develop their sales plans to ensure they meet sales targets.  

Other key accountabilities include:
•        developing a culture of continuous improvement in sales performance by using key metrics
•        significant in-field activity at all six regional business centres
•        potential customer contact leading RBC large contract sales 

Professionally sales-trained and with a successful track record of selling service contracts, ideally in the building maintenance sector, you should preferably have gained your experience in one or more of door solutions, end-of-build projects, building support mechanisms, FM, elevators and/or materials handling. With proven skills in sales training and change management, and a strong leader, you’re growth-orientated, financially aware and able to provide evidence of delivering profitability and growth in a marketplace with similar characteristics.

•        the willingness for frequent UK wide travel visiting RBC’s / clients 

This role offers autonomy and tremendous scope to make an impact on the sales culture. It may be possible to operate from a base at one of their existing Northern/Central business locations.
