They are looking for an experienced Water Data Analyst to join them on a 6-month fixed term contract based in Peterborough.
You will be responsible for analysing the water consumption date for business customers that contract with our client for Industrial and Commercial ‘Active Water Management’ services and evaluating water consumption across customers’ multiple business premises using average daily consumption comparison and sector/activity specific benchmarking techniques to identify excessive use, inefficiency, wastage and best practise.
Identifying changes in consumption patterns and trends and seek to establish if causes can be explained or indicate problems, such as leakage or bad behavioural practices, liaising with Support Team personnel to ensure meter read and logger data is obtained in line with agreed schedules and is compiled and presented in required formats and producing Average Daily Consumption (ADC) and Benchmarking reports for customers in line with individual contract obligations.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with at least Grade C in English and Maths, you will ideally have experience in report writing and basic statistical analysis, be able to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In addition, you will be confident with the use of Microsoft Excel for manipulating data with use of formulas, generation and formatting of graphs.
