Sports Teachers - Reading & Oxford
Activate Learning have some exciting opportunities across Reading and Oxford to teach Sport and Public Services - to develop innovative and challenging programmes of study for our learners at the Reading and Oxford campuses of Activate Learning.
You'll have excellent and inspirational teaching skills and the ability to teach Sport Performance, Sport Exercise and Public Services courses at level 2 & 3, and ideally will possess a range of coaching skills/qualifications.
Through the use of challenging individual targets and learning plans, you'll ensure that student achievement is optimised and will support students in overcoming any difficulties they experience during their studies.
As part of your role, you will produce lesson plans and a variety of resources that will enable your students to take part in learning activities. To monitor their success, you'll be required to produce and manage data reports detailing their achievements.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential.
The ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing is essential, whilst demonstrating a good level of emotional intelligence. Additionally, you'll have experience and ability in the use of IT, not just for teaching, but for student learning, communicating and tracking. A can-do attitude is essential, as is the ability to engage wholeheartedly in a team approach.
You must be educated to degree level, ideally with PGCE/DTLLS, and be ambitious for the students, the Department and the College.
Salary: £23,294 to £33,179 PA - PR
