Expenses Accountant
London
£30000 - £40000 per annum
Client is a General Insurance company based North of London. This is a 6 month contract role, focusing on reporting monthly/quarterly forecasts and actual expense results to the board. Assist the Senior Finance Manager on monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
Role requirements;
* Producing monthly expense packs and supporting analysis for budget holders;
* Assisting with the preparation and submission of quarterly expenses report to Head office Management Accounts Department including separate reporting of IT costs (FITD) , FTE analysis and variance analysis of fixed and variable costs;
* Performing detailed and accurate quarterly forecasting and analysis of expenses;
* Performing the detailed expenses budget for inclusion in the annual planning and budgeting cycle;
* Meeting with budget holders on a monthly basis to discuss and challenge expense variances and subsequent accounting for corrections and amendments
Profile requirements;
* Qualified Accountant
* Previous accounting, account processing and reconciliation experience.
* Expense accoutning experience within Insurance is essential
