Night Care Assistant

BS Social Care are looking for a Support Worker to join a well established team in Ormskirk.

Set in a beautiful little village in the Ormskirk area, this 5* Care Home prides itself on luxury care, both of the service users and their staff. With a 2:1 ratio of residents to staff, you will never feel stretched and have the opportunity to focus on providing the best care you can at all times.

You will provide care to people with a large variety of needs, from residential to specialist nursing care. You will experience all aspects the home has to offer and commit to training to be able to excel in all care needed.

In order to succeed in this role, you must be kind, caring and good-natured. As you will be working through the night with minimal management supervision, you must be reliable and self-motivated, able to use your own initiative and work well in a small team.

Essential Criteria:
- Driver (due to location of service)

Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care
- Experience in a care role

Salary is £7.55 per hour, with the following additions:
- +40p on weekends
- +£1 overtime
- Time and a half on bank holidays
- Double time for Christmas Day and Boxing Day
