My client, a global leader in the aerospace, space and defense industry, and based in Filton, Bristol is seeking a Supply Chain Business Improvement Manager on a contract basis.

This contract opportunities are for 9 months initially, with the possibility of extension, working a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Description of the job

The successful candidate will be required and accountable to deploy, maintain and support harmonized Supply Chain processes and tools (in particular AirSupply), ensuring the consistency of supply chain methods, processes, tools, skills and training guaranteeing all stakeholders satisfaction related to the Business Operations and Improvement Projects deployment.

Key Tasks

* Drive delivery of Business Operations and Improvement Projects to achieve the expected results in accordance with Procurement Operations priorities, Customers' needs and Client's project management methodologies
* Monitor progress and provide regular visibility and project/ process status updates (RAG, Action's, Issues/Risks, planned activities, tracking of milestones, progress to plan) to all stakeholders
* Build and strengthen relationships with the internal customers and stakeholders in order to contribute to the POx improvement strategy and support to the end-users
* Identify new improvement actions/ projects/ processes together with PO community of Business Experts, using benchmarking of Supply Chain processes and tools, best practices, KPIs, Lean practices and methods (SQCDP dashboards, Problem Solving...)
* Contribution to relevant forums and projects as appropriate Detailed competences (include proficiencies) Performance management fundamentals - Interacting with and Influencing - Root cause & impact analysis
