Insurance Claim / Damage Handler
The Company:
Having expanded through steady growth and acquisitions, Turner Hire Drive currently has multiple locations throughout Scotland, & North England - maintaining one of the largest commercial vehicle rental fleets in the country.
An opportunity now exists for the newly created position of an Insurance Claim / Damage Handler to be responsible for ensuring effective and economic resolution of all claims / damage handled.
The Role:
- Ensuring that all insurance claims and damage reports are presented to brokers / insurance company and customers in a timely manner.
- Providing management reports on current status of claims / damage on a regular basis.
- Assisting in the improvement of standards of quality and productivity in the damage claim / insurance claim processes, always looking for a better way to meet total customer satisfaction.
- Resolving any relevant queries and providing an inception to closure system for all claims and damage documentation.
- Ensuring all damage and insurance related correspondence, filing and administration for the department is carried out timely, efficiently and accurately.
- Liaising with staff, customers and insurance companies on a daily basis to maintain key job function requirements.
- Providing an inception to conclusion process for the accident damage sustained to Turner vehicles.
- Efficiently solving complaints ensuring compliance with the FSA regulations and timescales.

- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive can-do attitude
- Previous administrative experience
