The Company: A family run company established over 100 years ago. They operate in a number of market sectors namely Retail, Scientific laboratory and Industrial (predominantly H&V). They are a manufacturing company who have built a reputation of quality and service and supply customers both home and abroad. You will be joining a small team of dedicated sales professions which offers an exciting challenge to sell into varied market sectors.
The Role: With a focus on targeting existing accounts the new Business Development Manager will be calling on both Regional and National Distributors in the market sectors within which the company operates. You will be expected to service existing customer accounts and establish new customer accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing and potential clients. Some overnight stays will be necessary.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record in field sales.
- Previous experience in selling to Industrial distributors, ideally within the H&V sector.
(Although desirable it is not essential as full training and support will be given).
- Be located in either the Manchester-Leeds (North) Birmingham-Leicester (South) corridor.
- A candidate living within close proximity to the Head Office (North Lakes) would also be strongly considered.
