Maths Graduate - Games Designer
Department / Function: Product Development ~ Content Development
Location: Manchester (Chadderton)
Hours: Mon-Fri. Standard hours

The UK division of Scientific Games Corporation, designs and develops leading gaming content in a creative and dynamic work environment, constantly striving to deliver new and exciting content to our consumers. We are currently looking for a Maths Graduate to strengthen our Games Design & Development team.

As a member of the Games Design Team, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the design and development of new gaming content. In addition to contributing to initial concept you will be expected to produce software simulation and math model in order to evaluate and evolve the concept with other members of the design team.

The ideal candidate will be a Maths graduate looking for their first or second role. They will have strong A-level grades including an A in Maths and be confident with their programming skills. Ideally this will be within C++, but C# or a related language will be acceptable. A strong understanding of spreadsheet math modelling is also required. Full training and mentoring will be given along with the potential for career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to initial concept design
* Produce software simulation and/or spreadsheet math model of concepts.
* Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the markets that the company is involved in

Skills Required:
* Maths degree (or related)
* A-level Maths - Grade A
* Software development skills, ideally within C++, but can be C# or related
* Spreadsheet math modelling
* Enthusiasm for gaming products
