Group Financial Accountant
Cheshire
£45000 - £60000 per annum
Client is a well established PLC. Operating internationally they are in strong growth recently, with an increase in sales due to new products and acquisitions to the group. Their acquisition strategy has grown their overseas operations and that activity is set to continue. This growth had placed them in the top 10 companies in the world in their market.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a fantastically broad role in which you will provide input from a finance perspective across the business. You will gain exposure to cross-functional processes, and support key stakeholders with financial control.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Consolidating Group Management Accounts
* Preparing Management Reports for the PLC board
* Preparing the budget and re-forecasting for the business
* Preparing statutory accounts
* Ensuring the correct controls are in place for accounting processes
There will be wider project focus to the role, which will include heavy involvement with the implementation of a new accounting system
Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will hold a full UK accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) and will have strong technical accounting knowledge. Practice trained candidates making their first or second move in industry should apply, though if you have experience of a group role within a blue chip organisation, your application may also be considered.
