We currently have an opportunity for a Call Handler/Planner to join our team based in Peterborough, on a 6-month fixed term contract.

Within the role, you will take incoming calls from tenants, arranging appointments and raising orders as necessary. Candidates for this position will guarantee are recorded on the system and that orders are scheduled in an efficient manner. You will also manage potential complaints and challenging customer service queries, ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner. The successful Call Handler/Planner will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the branch whilst working well within our team/ all branch staff ensuring all targets are achieved.

Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level in English and Maths, you will be a proficient user of IT with experience of data entry and calculations. Ideally candidates for this position will have previous experience of Social Housing coupled with knowledge of the filing and retrieval operations of numerical filing systems. With previous experience of working to tight deadlines within a busy office environment you will be an experienced user of MS Word and Excel. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and preferably hold knowledge of maintenance in the public sector. A great team worker, you will be to use your own initiative to work independently. Moreover, we are looking for a committed individual who is able to thrive in our dynamic team.
