Formed in 1996, Minesoft is an innovative global patent information solutions provider, serving Fortune 500/ FTSE 100 companies around the world. Big data, text mining and data visualisation are key areas that we specialise in to unravel the complex world of patent data. 

As the winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2009 and 2015, Minesoft have plans to significantly expand our Development Team and are looking for a Web Developer to join us in Cambridge. 

As a Web Developer, you’ll work on a wide range of projects involving big data, data visualisation and data mining. 

Specifically, you’ll help to develop web-based information services that enable clients to effectively interrogate, review and analyse intellectual property information. 

You’ll link together a range of scientific, technical, legal and full text patent information for patent professionals and research specialists in many different industries including pharmaceutical, chemical and engineering. 

Using the latest technologies, you’ll be coached and mentored by our highly-skilled Senior Developers, making this a great opportunity to enhance your expertise. 

Interested? If so, you will need: 

- A degree in computer science or similar OR 
- Previous web development experience 

Experience of PHP or ASP.NET either gained from a commercial environment, your studies or similar is also essential.
