Title: Management Accountant
Salary: 40,000 + Excellent Benefits
Client is a rapidly growing Business services organisation seeking to appoint a new Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance manager, my client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded qualified accountant to support the preparation of the monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist in the strategic design and implementation of a new Financial and ERP solution across the business
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts from trial balance to financial statements
* Production of monthly gross margin reports for inclusion in management accounts
* Comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, including accrued income, expense schedules, fixed asset reporting & intercompany balance reconciliation's
* Using initiative to provide commentary regarding the analytical movement of the income statement.
* Comparing actual performance to budgets, providing variance analysis
* Cash flow reporting and forecasting, liaising closely with the Treasury department
* Assistance with the production of year-end statutory financial statements, liaising with the Group finance department
* Develop and implement strong controls and procedures within the finance area, providing a strong base for the continued rapid growth of the business
* Supporting the Finance Manager with one-off technical practical assignments
* Consistently and accurately meeting internal and external deadlines
* Helping to pass on your experience and knowledge to trainee management accountants, thus maintaining the continuing ethos of the company to improve and promote within

* Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
