Requirements:F P Plastics (Engineering) has an opening for a Procurement Manager.The core focus of the Procurement Manager will be to maximise value for money through the Procurement process By identifying & implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to improve the design and competitiveness of Our products. You will be working as part of a team to manage the supply chain in relation to Cost, Quality, Delivery and Improvements Key responsibilities include: ? Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of the best Value for money.
? Building and implementing a tender process to get new suppliers on board.
? Regulating and managing suppliers, using strategic knowledge and negotiation skills to deliver solutions Within budget.
? Monitoring and developing the procurement process Responsibilities:- Responsible for the management of the procurement of bought out materials.
- Ensure that bought out materials meet specification, delivery & quality requirements. - Identify supply chain risks & introduce necessary risk mitigation plans. - Establish supplier contracts and ensure flow down of terms and conditions from Customer contracts is understood and accepted in the supply chain and relevant clauses included in supplier contracts. - Develop inventory management strategies aimed at achieving zero stock outs for materials supporting our manufactured products. supply chain process & obtain and communicate technology developments within the Engineering Team to support new product programmes. - Continuously assess the procurement process and, where appropriate, suggest and implement corrective action to improve the process.
