Key Stage 1 Class Teacher

Principal Teachers are working in partnership with a primary school in the Harrogate area. The school has a vacancy for a Year 2 Class Teacher to commence a full time role as soon as possible until Easter 2018. The Head Teacher wishes to appoint a creative, dynamic and driven KS1 specialist, who can plan and assess meticulously to meet the needs of a diverse class. You will be required to engage all children in their learning and provide exceptional learning experiences to provide the children with the tools and support to succeed. Based in a vibrant area of Harrogate, the school has been graded Good with Outstanding Features by OFSTED. The school promotes a collaborative and open ethos and children are motivated to learn and achieve. You will gain access to a wealth of resources and excellent onsite facilities upon appointment including a full time TA. You will need to deploy your TA effectively to enhance pupil learning in Year 2 and collaborate with the KS1 team to ensure progression. Behaviour across the school is good and you will need to fully embrace the schools behaviour management policy and ethos in order to uphold standards.
