They are willing to train and develop a self-starter. However, the following 'Real World' experience and skills are required:

Technical Skills:

- Citrix 7.x XenApp / XenDesktop design, implementation, deployment and support.
- Microsoft AD: User and Group Policy management.
- Knowledge of Office 365 and similar cloud technologies especially beneficial. (any migration knowledge would be especially useful).
- Knowledge of Sophos UTM appliances especially desired.
- Knowledge of LAN/ WAN technologies e.g. DMZ, IPv4, SFTP, SNMP, VLANs.
- Systems Security: Physical and logical data access best practices.
- Backups: Administering Arcserve(or similar) and managing D2D & Tape media.

Overall Responsibilities/Key Tasks:

- Managing and Supporting Client / Server environments and applications, including system backups.
- Building and supporting Citrix 'Server to Desktop' delivery technologies, utilising Xen App/Desktop on Windows 2012R2 and Windows 2016.
- Assisting IT / MIS teams in providing 1st and 2nd line support to PCA End Users.
- Providing stakeholders with 3rd line infrastructure (design, build & implementation) and support.
- Review and identify actions that deliver quality improvements, working closely with the I.T. Manager to improve processes and systems.
- Training / coaching and mentoring Colleagues and End Users in company 'Best Practice'.

Experience:

You will most likely have a broad working knowledge of Windows including, Server 2003/2008, Office 365 / 2016, VMware, Linux, Cisco, Sophos etc. along with the following skills:
- Excellent Communication - both written and verbal, with attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm, confident and knowledgeable will be critical to your success in this role.
- Ability to think strategically and work proactively.
- A consistent professional approach to all tasks.
- Awesome documentation skills and willing to share techniques and skills with peers & Users alike.
