Vacancy: Business and Community Fundraising Manager
Salary: £25,551 - £27,635 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours of Work: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with some evenings and weekends.
Hospice of the Valleys is the specialist palliative care provider of choice across Blaenau Gwent. A registered charity governed by a board of trustees, the Hospice delivers high quality care for patients suffering life limiting illness, and comprehensive support for their families throughout treatment, end of life care and bereavement. Due to a restructure within the Income Generation department an exciting opportunity have arisen to appoint a Business and Community Fundraising Manager.
The charity is looking for an enthusiastic and commercially-minded professional with a strong track record of successful fundraising in the voluntary sector. We are seeking a highly motivated fundraiser with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Experienced in building effective relationships and developing commercial opportunities with stakeholders you will also have experience of working closely with volunteers and an ability to work to agreed fundraising targets.
Are you able to demonstrate an ability to lead the development of the Business and Community Fundraising Strategy to significantly increase the charities income to support the strategic developments and growing costs of our care services?
