An exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic marketing analytics function consisting of 23 individuals who deliver descriptive and predictive analytical projects for a wide range of organisations.
You will undertake the hands on delivery of a broad range of analytical projects using a mix of data sources and analytical techniques. You will gain commercial acumen and a general business perspective through experience in multiple analytical disciplines including data manipulation, profiling, reporting, modelling, and segmentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Day to day responsibilities for an Associate Analyst include:
Delivery of Projects (85%)
- Works under supervision to deliver analytical projects
- Delivers projects to budgeted time, specification, and with a high level of accuracy first time
- Clearly and concisely communicates to internal and external stakeholders
- Develops and grows self with support from team members
- Keeps up to date with relevant new Experian products and data sets as well as new analytical techniques and software
Essential
- Degree with significant mathematical / technical / analytical content (2.1 or above preferred)
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and resolve issues
- A disciplined and structured attitude to work that delivers to deadlines and balances conflicting timescales and priorities
Desirable
- Masters with significant mathematical / technical / analytical content, including Mathematics, Computer Science, GIS
- A Level Mathematics or equivilent
- Experience of data analysis and interpretation
- Experience of any of the following programs / languages; SAS, Alteryx, r, SPSS, VBA, SQL, WPS, ArcGIS, Python
- Any relevant commercial experience (e.g. placement)
