Caretaker / Handyperson

Part-time Caretaker / Handyperson Amesbury Abbey Mews We are seeking a permanent part-time Caretaker / Handyperson for our Mews department for the independent elderly. The ideal individual for this position would be self-motivated, organised and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as you will be working in resident's homes and communal areas for the majority of your working day. Duties to include all aspects of maintenance & repair and general caretaking duties. You must have experience in maintenance or excellent DIY skills. Basic plumbing knowledge desirable. Experience in a similar role or in a trade would be an advantage. This position demands a caring, empathetic nature and the individual should possess a polite, respectful and trustworthy attitude.
