Web QA Tester

This role will be part of their Managed Services team, and will work to ensure all their client solutions are tested to a high quality and meet their visual, functional & technical standards.

Role Responsibilities
- Outline, implement, develop and communicate test strategies, processes and procedures
- To ensure that testing is well defined, planned and executed by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.
- Perform various types of testing to maintain a stable environment including but not limited to exploratory, functionality, performance, cross-browser, stability and integration
- Analyse test results and report to appropriate stakeholders
- Continuously identify, discuss and implement test improvements to maximise effectiveness and efficiency of the test function
- Build and maintain effective working relationships and close communication with colleagues and other areas of the business
- Increase capability within the organisation by sharing test knowledge amongst colleagues
- Escalate issues appropriately

Personal Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years software testing experience
- An ISEB/ISTQB Certificate in software testing, or Quality Assurance and Software Testing Certification, or similar
- Exposure to a variety of test tools and automation
- Experience of identifying test requirements from various sources
- Experience of compiling, maintaining and executing test plans/test scripts and analysing associated results
- Knowledge of content management tools
- Experience of compiling test reports
- Experience of identifying and authoring test requirements and acceptance criteria
