Leading engineering company is actively recruiting for an experienced Senior BI (Business Intelligence) Analyst ideally with mixed experience across SQL and other BI tools such as Qlikview/Crystal Reports/Sharepoint SSRS

The successful Business Intelligence Analyst/Reports Analyst will be:

• Responsible for the management and delivery of the Business Intelligence (BI) service and configuration working with the 3rd party suppliers to ensure continuous service
• Responsible for managing and developing the skills to constant delivery of high quality services for BI
• Be a subject matter experts in BI, including; Qlikview, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting services and SQL
• Management of data extraction into a data model. Ensuring that all data is cleansed,
• Ensure delivery of and deliver good customer service through delivery of consistent, well documented, configuration of agreed SharePoint solutions

• 3 years plus experience of managing business information requirements to deliver reports to enhance operational performance, including Qlikview,Crystal Reports, SSRS, SharePoint BI, Self service report tools
• Working in a challenging and complex organisation and demonstrable experience of managing organisational, business and technical change
• Good experience of understanding and writing business requirements, specification writing and delivery of technical solutions to an agreed standard
• Experience delivering solutions to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies
• Proven experience in managing small technical teams and working with business users to deliver technology solutions
• Experience of working with internal and external suppliers to ensure specified SLAs are met
• Managing the resolution of Qlikview and Reporting application issues and problems through Remedy/Service Desk within agreed SLAs
• Strong PLSQL and TSQL skills to create standards based reports from Oracle, SQL and any standards based data source
• Build data cubes or queries that can be reused across multiple reports or used by the business to self-generate reports within a safe environment that does not impact on production environments
• Development experience with Qlikview for dashboard creation and data profiling preferred.
• Datamodelling, profiling and cleansing techniques.
• Managing the technical library to an agreed common standard for BI systems, services and reports
• A full driving licence
• Excel services, Visio Services, Performance Point and Powerview experience
