Employment Solicitor - Newly Qualified

My client is a regional law firm with a strong presence across the South West and the Midlands. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Solicitor (0-3 years PQE) to join their Employment team within their Cheltenham office.

The successful candidate will preferably have between 0-3 years PQE experience.

Reporting to the Department Head, the role will include responsibility for a mixed case-load of contentious and non contentious work with some supervision. Although most of the work is for respondents experience of acting for individuals will also be relevant as will experience of employment related corporate and commercial support. Experience of advocacy would also be valued.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational and time management skills, and proven experience of maintaining and developing excellent client will also be required to make a proactive contribution to implementing the Departments Business Plan, including delivering seminars and training, attending networking events and targeting new clients.
