Manager, Children and Young Peoples’ Mental Health
Mind Cymru are working to make sure everyone in Wales has access to the mental health information, support and services they need. As the Manager of Children and Young Peoples’ Mental Health, you will scope and develop our strategy, policy, campaigning and partnership influencing work for children and young people in Wales. You will ensure that the programmes we develop are reflective of the Welsh context, particularly within the school environment.
This will involve working across the organisation as well as establishing and supporting key external relationships. You will also ensure that all our work in Wales is shaped by the needs of children and young people themselves and by the Welsh policy delivery and cultural environment. You will bring an understanding of the children and young people policy & campaigns and delivery environment in Wales, as well as a passion for achieving and influencing change in a children and young people environment.
Furthermore, you will become the foremost source of expertise for Mind on this area in Wales and an important part of the Mind Cymru team; we won’t give up until everyone with a mental health problem in Wales is treated fairly, positively and with respect.
