Car Driver

Staffline are looking for a reliable Car Driver to join our client at portbury docks.

The main duties of the role will include driving cars of all makes and sizes and park them safely in a variety of compounds within the dock yards. You will be using a hand scanner to locate the cars, so previous experience in using hand scanners would be advantageous but not essential. You will be required to drive automatic and manual vehicles as well as larger vans.

No previous experience is needed as full training will be provided, however good, safe driving and parking skills are necessary as well as a good work ethic and attention to detail.
This position will be ongoing for the right person, with additional training and development provided dependant on performance. Benefits include staff canteen facilities and excellent working conditions.

Applicants must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences, no unspent DR10 (drink driving) or DD (dangerous driving) offences and employment references to cover the last 2 years.
The shifts available are 6AM - 2.30pm, 9am - 5.30pm and 15:00 - 11.30pm.

The pay for the morning and day shift is GBP7.50 plus bonus (potential to earn GBP8.00 per hour) and the pay for the afternoon shift is GBP8.63 plus bonus (potential to earn GBP9.00 per hour). Overtime is paid at time and a half and kicks in after 8 hours a day and on Saturday's.
